2009 "McHugh Vineyard" Pinot Noir, Carneros
300 cases produced. Aged in French Oak - This property was sold in 2010, and the 2009 vintage will be the last that Homewood Winery will produce.
This Wine epitomizes all the qualities that Carneros can provide in a complex Pinot Noir. Deep flavors of rich cherries, with subtle notes of spice and smokiness. A lovely, creamy finish rounds out this wine that may be paired with salmon, duck, and lamb dishes or enhance those more subtle flavors of turkey or ham.

"The Delicacy of the Valley."
275 cases produced of this Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre blend. 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre. Aged in French Oak. When the Syrah was harvested, Dave discovered that a few select bins provided better qualities than the rest, he set these aside to be used only in his GSM blends.
Dark fruit aromas combine with soft notes of vanilla and flavors of blackberries, blueberries, and loganberries. This is pleasure in a glass. Pairs wonderfully with rosemary pork loin, turkey, and sweet potatoes.
